Ashwood Recovery is an independent, comprehensive outpatient treatment center, located in the Boise/Meridian Idaho area. We specialize in treating adults and adolescents, who suffer from addictive disorders, co-occurring disorders, eating disorders, co-dependency and trauma. Our team is comprised of highly trained and compassionate professionals. Our approach to treatment is effective, diverse and evidence based. We receive referrals from some of the nations leading treatment programs and do not subscribe to a “cookie cutter” method of treatment.
At Ashwood Recovery, we help our clients identify the underlying issues that fuel addiction and other disorders. Our team has worked with the nations leading providers, doctors, therapists and other professionals to create a proven and holistic approach. Our program incorporates 12-step principles, group therapy, trauma treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, EMDR, individual/family counseling and other evidence based modalities. It is our goal to bring current and effective addiction and alcohol treatment to Idaho.
Why Individualized Treatment?
At Ashwood, we believe certain individuals need combinations of different approaches. It is for this reason our team is diverse and cross trained. Due to the diversity of those with addictive disorders, we felt it was necessary to understand how these various disorders interact and how to better treat them. We understand that these disorders often overlap, and that differentiating causes from symptoms is difficult. This is why we truly go out of our way to customize each individuals treatment experience. This doesn't mean we compromise the structure of our program to accommodate each persons wishes. Each client is still asked to participate in outside 12-step meetings and complete a series of core assignments and tasks. However we will include additional services for specific needs to ensure a complete and seamless treatment experience.

Ashwood Recovery works closely with most treatment centers in the Idaho area. If you or your loved one is in need of a higher level of care, or treatment that we don't provide, we offer a comprehensive assessment to help identify what type of treatment is required. If there are no resources available for your specific needs in Idaho, we work with a network of national providers ranging in various specialties. These specialties vary based on primary diagnosis, age, cost needs, comorbid disorders, psychiatric concerns and many other factors. Finding the courage to change is difficult enough, it is vital to find the right treatment program to maximize chances of success.
