Families are often compared to mobiles. If you move one part of the mobile, the entire mobile is moved. Addiction causes parents sleepless nights, kids to cover for theirguardians, spouses to lie and many other painful scenarios. Ashwood Recovery has included a "family night" as part of the IOP program to help the entire family system. Not only does this increase the clients chances of success, but the entire families well being. It is an amazing process watching a few hours of family work start to heal years of confusion, anger and resentment. Our team recognizes the need for family members and loved ones to embark on their own journey of recovery. At Ashwood Recovery families have the opportunity to better understand addiction, family dynamics, and the recovery process for their loved one, as well as for themselves.
