Drug and Alcohol Rehab and Recover Help in Kennewick, WA

Addiction Rehab and Recovery Resource Guide for the Kennewick, WA Area

The Kennewick, Washington area has many options for people seeking drug and alcohol rehab. But what about those individuals who need an alternative to what might be considered the “standard approach” for recovery? Fortunately, there are ways to meet their needs as well.

It takes a lot more than willpower to recover from an addiction successfully. Peer support is a very important part of the healing process. Support groups like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous can be very beneficial to those who are battling substance abuse. Also, Al-Anon and Alateen can provide help and hope to hurting families, loved ones and young people.

We want people to know that recovering from an addiction may be challenging, but it is possible. With the right Kennewick addiction recovery resources, or through treatment, it can be done. Please note that we are not affiliated with these programs in any way.

What to Know About Drug and Alcohol Rehab in the Kennewick Area

Although AA and NA can be very helpful to those in addiction recovery, they do not work for everyone. These support groups provide a lot of peer counseling opportunities. But they are lacking in professional help because the meetings are run by addicts in recovery. That is just not enough for everyone.

Alcohol and drug rehab centers are plentiful in the Kennewick area. They provide everyone with a substance abuse problem with the chance to receive the professional support they need.

It is not enough to treat the addiction by itself. It is also important to treat the cause of it, which quite often means treating people for co-occurring disorders. This approach offers the best chance of a successful recovery.

There are 4 rehab programs located in Kennewick. But there are a total of 6 within a 5-mile radius of the city, according to the SAMHSA treatment locator. These facilities offer outpatient treatment services only. In fact, the closest inpatient program is located close to 40 miles away.

It is very common for people to get stuck when choosing between an inpatient and an outpatient treatment program. They want to do what is best for them in the long-term, and they want to be sure they choose correctly. The reality is that both of them can provide everything a person needs to be successful.

Inpatient rehab tends to be for those who are new to treatment, or who need additional support. They may not live in a safe home environment, or they may have a history of relapsing. In any of these situations, inpatient is usually the best option.

Outpatient rehab can be very effective as well. Many of the programs today offer higher levels of care, which is great for the addict who is new to recovering. Some people just need the flexibility that this type of program can provide for them.

Our Outpatient Rehab Facility in Idaho

At Ashwood Recovery, we are proud to be able to offer our outpatient rehab program to people in Idaho. It has been called one of the best facilities in the area, and our goal is to treat the addiction as well as its cause.

We recognize that people recover in different ways, and each of our clients needs a personalized approach. Not only do we provide each of them with their own treatment plan, but we have three levels of care to meet their needs. They may be appropriate for our intensive outpatient program, partial hospitalization program, or our traditional outpatient rehab.

We carefully assess each person who contacts us to determine the best course of action to help them reach their goals.

People who live in Washington State may need to attend treatment closer to home. Our sister facility, Northpoint Seattle, offers an excellent outpatient program.

Our Recommendation for Inpatient Rehab in Washington

Northpoint Washington is our recommendation for anyone in Washington State who is in need of inpatient rehab services. Their program includes treatment for both alcoholism and drug addiction, as well as detoxification services too.

Our Drug and Alcohol Rehab Facility

Even though going to Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings can be effective, it is often not enough for most people. This is especially true for someone who is new to getting help. Many individuals need to begin by going through professional treatment, and then these 12-Step meetings are utilized during their follow up.

Ashwood Recovery is located just over four hours away from the Kennewick area. A lot of people prefer to go somewhere away from home to get drug or alcohol treatment. They find that it helps them to focus more fully on recovering, and less on the issues they may be facing at home.

We offer one of the best intensive outpatient programs in the area. We can provide referrals for detoxification services for those who need them. We only call upon programs that we trust to help people the right way when we make referrals.

Recovering from an addiction is not impossible, which is what a lot of people believe. With the right support, it can be done successfully. We can help you if you are interested in learning more.
