Seattle Drug & Alcohol Rehab Resources

Seattle, WA Area Alcohol and Drug Rehab and Addiction Recovery Options

Drug and alcohol rehab and detox is just one of the options available to people struggling with substance abuse in the Seattle area. There are several other ways to find recovery support as well. The problem is that many people do not realize that help is available.

Professional treatment is considered to be the best choice for addiction recovery. But that does not mean that it will work well for everyone. Some people do really well by attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings or Narcotics Anonymous meetings. Also, Al-Anon and Alateen are available to provide support to families.

We wanted to take this opportunity to provide additional information on all of the available options. Choosing the right addiction recovery resources in Seattle can make a huge difference in a person’s long-term success. Please note that we are not affiliated with these organizations in any way.

Going to Drug and Alcohol Rehab in Seattle

Even though 12-Step meetings can be very effective, there are some people who need more support. It is not enough for them to attend weekly meetings, and talk with their peers. They need professional help, which is only available through a quality alcohol and drug rehab program.

Going to rehab gives people the opportunity to work with experts who have helped others quit using. These professionals have tried and true methods, but they also understand the importance of offering personalized help. Their goal is to understand and treat the root cause of the addiction. That approach gives people a much better chance of being successful long-term.

The SAMHSA treatment locator tool indicates that there are more than 30 addiction rehab facilities in the Seattle area. By expanding the search to include a 25-mile radius around the city, there are more than 100 to choose from.

The question of what type of rehab works best is a hard one to answer. That is because everyone has different needs, and what works for one might not work for another. Both inpatient and outpatient programs can be effective; they just need to be implemented in the right way.

For those who have a solid support system at home, an outpatient program might be an excellent choice. Most people who are new to recovery will need a lot of time with staff. Many facilities offer an intensive outpatient program for just that reason.

On the other hand, there are those who need the higher level of support that can only be found through inpatient treatment. They may need to detox prior to rehab, or they may be at a higher risk for relapsing for a number of reasons.

What matters most is finding a program that meets the individual’s needs. Once that is accomplished, that person will have the best chance of being successful in recovery.

Our Outpatient Rehab Program in Idaho

At Ashwood Recovery, we offer one of the best outpatient rehabs in the region. Because we understand that not every addiction is the same, we designed our program to include different levels of care. Our clients can attend a partial hospitalization program or our IOP. A more traditional form of outpatient rehab is also available for those who need it.

We also have facilities in Washington State that offer outpatient treatment. Northpoint Seattle has one location in Seattle. Their program is very similar to ours, and the same services are available.

Help for Those Seeking Inpatient Treatment in Washington State

Of course, there are those who need the level of support that comes with inpatient care, as we mentioned earlier. Our inpatient facility is Northpoint Washington, and it is located in Edmonds. They offer help for those who are in need of drug addiction treatment and treatment for alcoholism.

Northpoint Washington offers detox and rehab under the same roof. That makes it more convenient for people to get exactly what they need at the same location. They have a 28-day program, which is the standard length of time for rehab.

Our Alcohol & Drug Addiction Rehab Facility

Ashwood Recovery is located about nine and a half hours away from Seattle, Washington by car. By plane, it is possible to get there in about an hour and a half.

Our drug rehab program is one of the best in the region. We can also refer for detoxification services to ensure that our clients receive the best possible treatment for their addictions.

For someone with a substance abuse problem, recovering can be very difficult.

But while there are challenges, it is not impossible. The right support can change everything, and with so many addiction recovery resources in the Seattle area, it is easy to find.
